RRB NTPC Undergraduate Level 2026: Notification, Vacancies & Eligibility

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) recruitment for Undergraduate Level posts (12th Pass) under NTPC 2026 is one of the largest entry-level opportunities in the Indian Railways.

1. Undergraduate Level Posts (12th Pass)

Posts available for candidates who have completed their higher secondary education:

• Junior Clerk cum Typist
• Accounts Clerk cum Typist
• Junior Time Keeper
• Trains Clerk
• Commercial cum Ticket Clerk

2. Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification: 12th (+2 Stage) or its equivalent with not less than 50% marks in aggregate (50% marks is not necessary for SC/ST/Persons with Benchmark Disabilities/Ex-servicemen).
• Nationality: Must be a citizen of India.

3. Age Limit (Expected)

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 30-33 years (Expected).
• Age Relaxation: As per government norms for reserved categories.

4. Selection Process

1. 1st Stage Computer Based Test (CBT)
2. 2nd Stage Computer Based Test (CBT)
3. Typing Skill Test (For Junior Clerk, Accounts Clerk, and Junior Time Keeper)
4. Document Verification & Medical Examination

5. Exam Pattern

The CBT 1 is common for all undergraduate posts and consists of:

• General Awareness: 40 Questions
• Mathematics: 30 Questions
• General Intelligence & Reasoning: 30 Questions
• Negative Marking: 1/3rd mark for every incorrect answer.

6. Application Fees

• General/OBC: ₹500 (₹400 refundable after CBT 1)
• SC/ST/Female/Ex-SM/EBC: ₹250 (Full refund after CBT 1)
