1. Graduate Level Posts

Common posts for candidates with a Bachelor’s degree include:

  • Goods Train Manager (formerly Goods Guard)
  • Station Master
  • Senior Commercial cum Ticket Clerk
  • Senior Clerk cum Typist
  • Junior Account Assistant cum Typist

2. Eligibility Criteria

  • Educational Qualification: A Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or its equivalent.
  • Nationality: Must be a citizen of India.

3. Age Limit (Expected)

  • Minimum Age: 18 years
  • Maximum Age: 33-36 years (Expected, including recent relaxations).
  • Age Relaxation: SC/ST (5 years), OBC (3 years), PwBD (10-15 years).

4. Selection Process

  1. 1st Stage Computer Based Test (CBT)
  2. 2nd Stage Computer Based Test (CBT)
  3. Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT) – Only for Station Master
  4. Typing Skill Test – For clerical posts
  5. Document Verification & Medical Examination

5. Exam Pattern (CBT 1)

  • General Awareness: 40 Qs
  • Mathematics: 30 Qs
  • General Intelligence & Reasoning: 30 Qs
  • Total: 100 Marks | Duration: 90 Minutes

6. Application Steps

  2. Click on the CEN (Centralized Employment Notice) for NTPC 2026.
